NZA Participates in Tender for EV Charging Station Development Across Three PLUS Locations

Nanizain Architect (NZA) is proud to announce our participation in a tender exercise for the proposed development of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station facilities at three locations along the PLUS highway network; Ayer Keroh RSA Northbound, RTC Gopeng Northbound, Gunung Semanggol RSA Southbound.

As Malaysia accelerates its transition towards sustainable mobility, the expansion of EV infrastructure plays a vital role in supporting the growing adoption of electric vehicles nationwide. PLUS Malaysia Berhad continues to strengthen its commitment to future-ready transportation infrastructure through the ongoing enhancement of charging facilities across its expressway network.

The proposed project reflects a shared vision of creating accessible, efficient and user-centric charging environments that serve the needs of modern highway travellers. Through our tender submission, NZA explored design solutions that balance functionality, user experience, operational efficiency and environmental responsibility.

Our approach focused on creating welcoming charging destinations that integrate seamlessly with their surrounding context while enhancing the overall journey experience for EV users. The proposal considered key aspects such as site planning, circulation, accessibility, user comfort, and the future scalability of EV infrastructure.
